Our Driver: Kenroy Brown and his son Tony.

Kenroy Brown has been my driver over 20 years, he first drove for me in March of 1990. He and his son Tony currently own their own vehicle and work for hire for touists while they are visiting Jamaica. Kenroy a local, born and raised in Duncans, Kenroy and his wife Margaret own the Kiki Rouge Bar in Duncans and starting in March his daughter, Byrany will stop managing the bar and grill at Silver Sands and work priimarily at the Kiki Rouge Bar. Tony his only son will sometimes assist and either he or Kenroy will drive their 25 passenger bus.. They all live in Jamaica except for his 2nd daughter Aretha who lives in the US.  Kenroy's nephew, Roydell (Miguel) joined the family business with a very nice 13 passenger van this past year.  They hope to expand in 2015 by either adding a 29 passenger or 40 passenger bus that can be used in transfers from the airport starting next year..

Kenroy is very knowledgeable about Jamaica and loves to answer guests' questions.  He loves music and likes following cricket and soccer (football). Kenroy likes talking to the group and normally drives our larger vehilce however Tony subs on some trips. When we have two vehicles, we usually add one 15 passenger van and either Tony or Miguel do the additional driving.

The family started handing the airport transfers in 2013 and therefore we have stopped using Sunholiday tours.  A 40 passenger bus would be a big help in the future if they can add that to their available vehicles.  Kenroy also helps out the group during the extended stays of our trip (after the initial seven night trip).  He has set prices or works for tips during these times.  When visiting Silver Sands on your own, Kenroy can be your personal driver at the rate of $20 per hour (Negril tour $200 flat rate)and his vehicle can handle up to 25 persons, max (no luggage) and up to 15 persons plus luggage.  He can handle larger groups with a larger vehicle with notice.

Over the years he has become very close to most of the repeat customers on our Jamaica trip.  Hope you enjoy being with him as much as we do!
