Starting in 2024, I will no longer be having group trips to Jamaica escorted by myself and Lynn. For 2024 and 2025 I will assist everyone by booking villas for them and giving everyone information on how to handle the balance of the trip. Everyone will have to handle the menu, purchasing food, transfers to and from Montego Bay airport as well as any transportation needed for excursions. All of my contacts as well as discounts will be given to you.

I believe that you will be able to save several hundred dollars on what you have been paying for the trip as my overhead will be reduced from the trip. This savings does not include any inflation costs. There would be no repeat discount as everyone would be saving money. Starting in 2026 I will consider passing on the booking of the villas to you as well.

If you are going for more than a week you will have to budget approximately $100 per day for your extended stay assuming that you would have villa charges and a lighter dinner meal and using leftover food.

*Overhead includes: Insurance, taxes, misc, supplies, expenses, phone, and accountant,) DWJ/LMJ trip is the amount that covers our trip to escort.

Starting in 2026 you will be able to book villas on your own through the owners and save additional money. You would save more on those villas that are booked directly through owners. A list of these villas is located on my website. There would be a slight savings if everyone booking villas would book the same dates which would help to get group air from Southwest which requires a minimum of 10 persons per group. It would also help in booking any trips with Ken Roy (bus) or Miguel (van).

Suggested dates for villa and group travel:

• Saturday, Feb. 10 – Saturday, Feb. 17 7 nights
• Saturday, Feb. 10 – Tuesday, Feb. 20 10 nights
• Saturday, Feb. 10 – Saturday, Feb 24 14 nights.

It is possible to book different arrival and departure dates other than then Saturday to Saturday for air fare and get better rates however it may be harder to book villa dates which normally book Saturday to Saturday. I suggest that you discuss renting villas of your choice and get back to me so I can put a hold on those villas. Those villas rented through owners can have a hold put on with no money due to the owner until March 1 with money coming to me a week prior. Those rented through MySilverSands can have a hold put on for no longer than a week with money due to me prior to the week ending.
